Ellsworth — William L. Wadsworth, 57, died unexpectedly at his home on March 14, 2018. He was born in Bangor, October 9, 1960 the son of Harry L. and Hazel L. (Zuck) Wadsworth, Jr.
Bill worked in car sales, the last place he worked locally being Maine Motors before relocating for a few years to Sarasota, FL. He spent his return to Maine with his best friend and soul mate Barbara and pup Otis. He loved a great boat ride with friends; so much this was where he and Barbara exchanged their wedding vows. Bill also enjoyed being a member of the Elks Lodge in Ellsworth, this being just one of his many sources of great friendship over the years.
He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (Snow) Wadsworth; fur child Otis; stepdaughter, Teri Stover and husband Earle of Ellsworth; two step grandchildren, Austin and Alexis Stover of Ellsworth; sister, Sharon Wadsworth and husband George Crabtree of Naples, FL; niece, Sara King and husband Michael of FL; great nephew, Theo King of FL; mother and father-in-law, Laura and Bim Snow of Penobscot. He was predeceased by his parents. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially Otis who misses his daddy terribly.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm, March 24, 2018 at the Elks Lodge, 317 High St. Ellsworth. Monetary donations to assist with funeral costs can be made to a memorial fund account in his name at The First, 235 High St. Ellsworth 04605.
