He once built a teepee himself and lived in it sometime near Moosehead Lake. David was a talented carpenter and woodworker; he specialized in hardwood flooring and enjoyed crafting intricate designs.
David was a proud and devoted member of the Ellsworth Moose Lodge where he enjoyed watching cooking shows and prepared delicious meals. He is survived by his daughter Cordelia; son Joshua; his former wife Susan Walsh; his sister Carolyn, and brother Michael. He was predeceased by his partner and love of his life, Susan Robertson, who had fought through many battles with cancer side by side, and his brother, Daniel.
There will be a celebration of life for David as well as a pig roast in his memory at the Ellsworth Moose Lodge June 5, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. He always wanted his ashes spread on Cape Cod where a second service will be held at a later date.
