Lucas John Merrill Pottle, 18, died in a tragic auto accident on Feb. 6, 2021. He was born in Ellsworth on Aug. 3, 2002, the son of Amy Ciarcia and Harold Pottle.
Lucas was a senior at Sumner Memorial High School and always planned to pursue a career in lobster fishing. Lucas enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, video games and four-wheeling. Living life to the fullest,
Lucas especially enjoyed being with family and friends. Lucas would do anything for anyone, regardless of how they treated him. He just enjoyed making people happy.
Lucas is survived by his parents; his brothers, Timothy Ciarcia of Gouldsboro and Cameron Pottle and girlfriend, Kelly, of Orono; Love of his life, Lilly Harvey of Brewer, who made his eyes light up like no
one else ever has; grandparents Merrill and Joy Pottle of Ellsworth; special
Uncle Dean; niece Emma Jayde Ciarcia, other aunts and cousins, and beloved dog, Adam.
He will be missed by many friends, especially Harrison, Connor, Cooper, Ty and Sleach and always remembered by his “brothers” Gavin, Jayden, Christopher, Keith, Jett and Collin.

I Miss his Smile So So Much.. He was my Rock.
Lucas was an amazing young man. He always made a person laugh. If Luke had known that he was going to die so young, he would not have lived any differently. He enjoyed everything that he did with a passion the rest of us only get to feel now and then. He was a great son, a great friend and a great doggy dad. He loved his parents and brothers so much. Lucas never met a person that he didn’t want to be friends with. The world is a far dimmer place without his smile to brighten ot up.
To anyone that ever mistreated him, I have no doubt that he forgave you. That’s just the kind hearted, lovable boy that he was.
Watch over your family and friends, Luke, I know you will because you always did

Lucas was a beautiful sole I loved when he would come to my moms house and hang out with my brother Owen so many great memories and oh boy wouldn’t he make us laugh he had a great sense of humor and it was an honor and a blessing to call
