ELLSWORTH
Patricia C. Jordan, 94, died unexpectedly, February 8, 2023, at Seaport Village Healthcare. She was born October 31, 1928 at Ellsworth, the daughter of Bernice E. Curtis.
Patricia graduated from Ellsworth High School, class of 1946. Following graduation, she went on to the University of Maine at Farmington and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in teaching. Patricia taught in Connecticut for several years before returning to Ellsworth in 1962 and marrying the love of her life, Dale Jordan. They divorced years later but remained best friends. Patricia was a substitute teacher in the Ellsworth School system for a few years before taking on the job of Administrative Assistant for the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce for over 22 years, retiring in November of 2006. Patricia was involved in AFS, American Cancer Society, and Beth C. Wright Cancer Center. She was a 3 time breast cancer survivor as well as having survived lymphoma of her eye. Patricia was a member of the First Congregational Church of Ellsworth and also served on the board of deacons for several years.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Stacy (Jordan) Foss and husband John of Hancock, granddaughter, Patricia (Patty) Foss of Hancock; niece Debby (Day) Sauer and Husband Howard of Boynton Beach, Fl.; nephew, Kenneth L. Jordan Jr. and wife Brenda of Portland; several special friends whom she thought of as family, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held March 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the First Congregational Church, 2 Church St. Ellsworth. Graveside services will be held in the Spring of 2023, date to be announced.

So sorry for your loss! Pat always brought smiles and laughs to the Beth C. Wright board meetings. She will be missed.
Oh my goodness.. I’m SO sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. I’ll miss her SO much when performing at Seaport Village. Sincere condolences to her family + friends.
