Franklin/ Bar Harbor
Jody Anne Silk passed away peacefully April 8th, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Jody was born on December 3rd, 1980, in Bar Harbor, daughter of John H. Silk and Kathleen Mary Feid.
We cannot imagine life without our beloved Jody, but her beautiful spirit will live in and around us always. She had a heart like none other. Whether she was helping patients at Downeast Eye, writing encouraging notes, calling family, or working in her garden, she always had a warm smile and a witty sense of humor that brightened everyone’s day.
Jody was a kind, loving family girl, absolutely beautiful inside and out. The children in her life (Caleb, Logan, Cameron, and Mason) meant everything to her. She was a perfect daughter, sister, girlfriend, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.
Jody is survived by her father John Silk; her two moms, Kathleen Feid and Timber Gorman; sister, Carly Audette and husband Brad; long-term partner, Jason Buteau and his two sons; as well as her two adoring nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; and everyone who was touched by her sweet soul.
In lieu of flowers, Jody would want you to do a random act of kindness, call a loved one, or find any reason you can to smile…
