Brooklin
On July 23, 2023, William J Gielarowski of Brooklin passed away at the age of 68 years.
Bill was born in Fayetteville, NC, and after high school joined the army where he spent his time mostly as an MP and driving tanks. In 1986, Bill and Leslie moved their young family to Brooklin, and created a beautiful life full of love, laughter, and friends. An avid hunter and fisherman, Bill ran his taxidermy shop for over 30 years. He was well known for his sense of humor, his smile, and his kindness. He enjoyed being a member of the Brooklin Fire Department, sexton of the Brooklin Cemetery, Boy Scout troop leader and his men’s poker night. Bill treasured spending time with his family and friends, all of whom he loved deeply and fiercely.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Hank (Katie) and Jon (Ali); grandchildren, Alex, Will and Audrey; brother, Steve (Monica); companion: Pam Madaris; as well as numerous family and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 42 years, Leslie; and his parents, John and Nancy.
