1 Condolence
Two generations of friendship are remembered with love and affection as we send our sincere condolences to all of Edna’s family. Edna and Bob Gerrish and Lydia and Frank Gerrish were close friends of both our parents and grandparents. Over the years we have been very grateful for the kindness and companionship Edna has shown our mother. Our mother, Claranne Hamilton Pitt, adored her. Edna’s door was always open to everyone for a cup of tea and a spirited conversation. Whenever any of our family stopped by to visit Edna, it was always a delightful visit. Edna was especially sweet to send a birthday card to Claranne’s daughter, Lorraine, last year for her 70th birthday to commemorate both Edna’s daughter, Louise, and Claranne’s daughter, Lorraine, being born one month apart. That card will be a cherished keepsake. In our minds, Edna will always be remembered as a very gracious, compassionate, and caring person. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
