David Rowe

David Rowe, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family at his summer residence in Maine on November 17, 2023. He spent most of his life in the Northeast until retiring to Florida. Born on May 26, 1944 in Worcester, Massachusetts, he grew up in Milford, Connecticut and raised his family in North Haven, CT and Saratoga Springs, New York. He retired to spend winters in Florida and summers in Maine.

David graduated from the University of New Haven as a Mechanical Engineer. He served in the US Army, and he worked as both a mechanical engineer and computer programmer. He loved spending time with family and friends, road trips (visiting all 50 states), playing sports including basketball and golf, and horse racing.

David is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Rosalie F. Rowe (McDermott). His children, Jennifer Kaefer and spouse Mark of Natick, MA, Susan Bucholtz and spouse Chad of Queensbury, NY, Daniel Rowe and spouse Tracey (Daniels) of New Port Richey, FL, and Alison Connors and spouse Alex of Odessa, FL. David was a proud Papa to 11 grandchildren and will be greatly missed by his family who will cherish all the memories. He was predeceased by his son Thomas Rowe, parents Grace and John Rowe, and brother Peter Rowe.

A celebration of life for David will be held in Upstate New York and will be scheduled for summer 2024. Please contact the family for further details.
